The Pine Bluff Community Band was organized in 1994 and directed by Jerry Horne.

Conductor, Jerry Williams, formerly the director of the Watson Chapel High School Band, joined the band 1n 2007. Membership is all volunteer and includes Pine Bluff's most talented musicians. Members ages range from 16 to over 70 and occupations include professional musicians, high school students, business people, retirees and homemakers. Some come from out of town to participate. Members joined to have a healthy leisure activity, fellowship, and enjoy playing their instruments. After years of playing together they still have fun doing it and have become a polished group contributing to the culture of the Pine Bluff community. There is never an admission charge for performances. The only financial support comes from voluntary donations.

Persons who play wind instruments or percussion are welcome to join the band. Weekly practice sessions are on Thursdays at 5:30PM at First Methodist Church at 6th & Walnut.
